Executive Benefit Planning / Deferred Compensation Plans

Selective plans provide retirement benefits and in some cases supplemental death benefits to select key employees and can be used to replace or enhance group or tax-qualified retirement benefits. Nonqualified executive benefit plans are based upon whether the benefits provided are in lieu of, or in addition to, current compensation. These are deferred compensation plans and supplemental employee retirement plans, respectively. Funding products for these plans include life insurance, annuities and mutual funds.

Risk Management (Life, Disability & Long Term Care Insurance)

Mitigation of risk is the foundation of financial security for you, your family and business. A death or disability could seriously hinder the financial future of your family and business, if precautions have not been put in place.

For Businesses: Business Risk Management planning is vital to help ensure that your business survives in the event of a life cycle change, i.e. death, disability, or retirement, and protect your business assets and liabilities. This can mean keeping the family business in the family or, in the case of non-family businesses, helping to ensure the orderly transfer of business interests. Specifically, we provide the following resources for guidance on the various planning strategies and funding techniques, specifically geared to the desired goals of the company. These goals can include succession planning, the selling of a business or key executive benefit plans. Potential strategies and services include:

  • Cross Purchase Buy-Sell
  • Stock Redemption Plans
  • Key Person Coverage

For Individuals: A well-designed risk management program taking into account the needs of the individual and your family. This protection can minimize the financial impact of life's unexpected tragedies while providing a strong financial foundation for future growth.

  • Life Insurance
  • Disability Income Insurance
  • Long-Term Care Insurance
